Biography

I am a recent Master’s graduate from the Center for Spoken Language Understanding at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. I am looking to move into industry, and am currently looking for a job. I earned my Master’s in computer science and focused on natural language processing; my undergraduate background was in linguistics, both sociolinguistics and morphosyntax, with an allied field in psychology.

At CSLU I’ve contributed to work on language use by people on the autism spectrum and development of automated assessment tools for language disorders. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on acquisition of Japanese formality structures by language learners.
